Unreal Tournament 2004 Voice Pack v1.1
CATS, as heard in "Invasion of the Gabber Robots" through DocTalker
By Joseph "Doc Lithius" Collins
Introduction -- "Move ZIG, for Great Justice!"
Welcome to the Readme file for my "CATS" voice pack! You may be wondering, "What is this crap?" Well, as I said, it's a voice pack. A voice pack for Unreal Tournament 2004, to be more precice. In the short of things, it's a pack that has a bunch of "document talker" voice files thrown in. But for those in the know, it's much, much more than just "a Stephen Hawking pack rip-off."
Some time in 2000, a Canadian "Gabber" band called "The Laziest Men on Mars" introduced the world to a song by the name of "Invasion of the Gabber Robots." Basically, this song was a heavily arranged version of the title sequence and part of the first level from an old arcade game, "Zero Wing". In the song, the Men use the program "DocTalker" to read the European introduction to the game which had been brutrally mistranslated. This sparked the whole "All Your Base" trend.
If you haven't heard of this trend, you've perhaps been living under a rock for the last five years or so. Regardless, the trend is as follows. People from all around the Internet have doctored pictures, made websites, quoted, re-quoted, and abused various lines from Zero Wing thanks to the aforementioned song; like such as "All your base are belong to us", "Move ZIG, for great justice!," and of course, "Somebody set up us the bomb!" Yes, it's a stupid trend. But I figured, "Why the Hell not?"
Installation -- "Somebody Set Up Us the Bomb!"
If you haven't already installed this through the UMOD file, it's a very simple matter. Just dump all the files into the UT2004/System directory and you're good to go! You should now be able to use a voice pack called "CATS(DocTalker)" for any of your robots, or even yourself!
Voice Listing -- "What You Say?!"
- 66 Unique Sounds!
- 13 Acknowledgements(plus Red/Blue Leader messages)
- 13 Friendly Fire
- 10 Team Orders

No lines were plucked from Rainecloud's Stephen Hawking Voice Pack.(But God help me, I considered swiping that "Haw-Haw-Haw-Haw-Hawkings Kill! Kill. Kill..." line... XD)
Now go play some Unreal Tournament 2004. I'll see you on the battlefield!
