This is a small 1v1 duel map I threw together on a sudden inspiration.
Changes in v1.2:
- Marked some actors "High Detail". Low-end systems should experience a
significant performance boost with World Detail set to Low.
Changes in v1.1:
- Replaced the Flak Cannon with the Minigun, creating a better weapon balance
for the map. The FC was too dominating on this map.
- Replaced the Lightning Gun with a second Sniper Rifle spawn.
- Moved FC and Minigun pickup bases to the lower level, creating better
movement flow through the map.
- Moved health spawns from tower tops to the wall itself, making them more
accessible yet still risky to go for.
- Added eye candy!
- Compressed cubemap and screenshot textures, bringing file size down
dramatically.
Known issues:
- Higher-level bots will lift-jump onto the tower tops to snipe at you, but
occasionally they overshoot the tower and drown themselves.
- The water cube map is a little bit awkward due to the layout of the map.
I haven't yet figured out a way to generate accurate reflections when an
object (the majority of the map, in this case) sits inside the bounding
area of the surface to which the cubemap will be rendered. It doesn't look
too bad, but the reflection isn't totally accurate. If anyone knows a way
