DESCRIPTION:
This package has mutators which add head shot capability to the super shock or zoom super shock rifle.
MUTATORS:
The following mutators are included in this package:
MutHeadShotInstaGib: Instant-kill combat with modified and head shot enabled shock rifles. This is exactly the same as the standard InstaGib mutator, except head shots are enabled.
MutHeadShotZoomInstaGib: Instant-kill combat with modified and head shot enabled zoom shock rifles. This is exactly the same as the standard Zoom InstaGib mutator, except head shots are enabled.
MutHeadShotOnlyIGRules: Adds rules to only allow head shot damage in Head Shot InstaGib matches. This is a companion mutator for either of the Head Shot InstaGib mutators. It's good for practicing or for a change of pace.
INSTALLATION:
There is an automated ut4mod package or manual zip package available.
To use the ut4mod, simply download and run the HeadShotInstaGib.ut4mod. In order for this to work, you must meet the requirements (UT2004) and have the ut4mod file type properly associated with UT2004.
To perform a manual install instead, download HeadShotInstaGib.zip. Extract the contents to the appropriate directories in your main UT2004 directory.

CONFIGURATION:
ServerPackages->
Head Shot InstaGib uses the bAddToServerPackages value to automate this process. This option requires the UT2004 3236 patch or higher. If you are using an older version, you will have to manually add the server packages to your UT2004.ini file. The UT2004.ini can be found in the System directory.
To add the server packages:
Open the UT2004.ini with a text editor.
Find the section called [Engine.GameEngine].
After the last "ServerPackages=" entry add:

Settings->
All settings can be found on each mutator's GUI configuration page. The following is a brief description of each setting in each mutator:
[MutHeadShotInstaGib]
Allow Translocator: Head Shot IG players get a translocator in their inventory. Same as standard InstaGib.
Allow Teammate Boosting: Teammates get a big boost when shot by the instagib rifle. Same as standard InstaGib.
[MutHeadShotZoomInstaGib]
Allow Translocator: Head Shot IG players get a translocator in their inventory. Same as standard InstaGib.
Allow Teammate Boosting: Teammates get a big boost when shot by the instagib rifle. Same as standard InstaGib.
[MutHeadShotOnlyIGRules]
Momentum Scaler: Scales the momentum applied to enemies when a hit is not a head shot. This determines how much you push around opponents when you miss their head.
In certain cases, dedicated servers may not have access to the GUI mutator configuration page. In these cases, WebAdmin can be used. The settings for the Head Shot InstaGib mutators will be located in the WebAdmin "Rules" group where they normally are for InstaGib. If you add the Head Shot Only IG rules, then the Momentum Scaler setting will be in it's own WebAdmin group- the "Head Shot Only IG" group. You can also change your settings by directly editing the HeadShotIG.ini file. It will be located in the System directory.

NOTES:
Head Shot InstaGib was coded and tested with the 3355 patch, but it should work with any retail UT2004 version. Please report any issues to the e-mail address above.
