INTRODUCTION
------------
The unofficial Unreal Tournament Desktop Theme.
It's got all you could possibly ask for... as startup
and a shutdown screen, two different background pics,
some icons, some original sounds and two edited soundfiles.
If you combine it with the unofficial UT screensaver (also
by little ol' me), your PC should be 100% ready for Unreal
Tournament.
Anyways, let's get down to the "how to":
INSTALLATION
------------
Simply unpack the whole thing to a folder called "UT",
which should be located in your Plus!/Themes directory.
For example, on most standard PCs this directory will be called
"C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\UT".
After doing so, you should be able to install the theme by
right-clicking on UT.theme and selecting "install".
TO USE THE ALTERNATE BACKGROUND IMAGE:
Simply right-click on your normal windows background, select
"properties", then "background image" and select "utback2.bmp"
instead of your current one.
TO USE THE UT STARTUP/SHUTDOWN SCREENS:
If you'd like to get rid of the boring "starting up Windows"
logo and add some more UT spirit to your home computer,
copy the file called "logo.sys" into the base root directory
of your master hard disk (usually c:\) and copy the file
called "logow.sys" to your Windows directory (usually c:\Windows).
-IMPORTANT NOTE-: you might not be able to find these files after
unpacking this theme when looking at them in your Windows Explorer.
This is because Windows usually hides files ending in .sys.
If you don't know how to find them yourself, just right-click on
the folder and select "search" in the popup menu. Simply enter the
name of the desired file there (ex.: logo.sys) and then run a
search for it. You can then simply copy and paste it right from
the search window.
-2nd IMPORTANT NOTE-: there will already be a file called logow.sys
in your "Windows" directory. If you don't want to delete your old
shutdown screen but want to save it for later, be sure to make
a backup of it before copying the new one over it!!!
