| | Location: The demiplane of chess

| | Description:
| | Checkmate is a CTF map containg two bases with tile paths
| | between them supported by floating rocks. The map does not
| | have much Z but still has plenty space to move around.
| | Altough the map is very open, two large rocks prohibit
| | spawn killing in the opposing base. The tile path is old
| | and worn out, so becareful because a few tiles are missing
| | leaving nothing but a nasty hole.
| | In the center of the map is a lifesize enchanted chessboard.
| | Remember to move like a bishop, or you will find a sudden
| | death. When playing Instant gib, the cursed chessboard can
| | oppose another tread when shot upon.
