--------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for downloading our mod! We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did developing it!

This is our first release of our Crucible mod. This is only a beta, and there are many aspects that we will be adding to and improving in time. This mod should give a good taste of how it will be as we progress.

1) Requirements:

You will need Unreal Tournament 3, and have it patched to the latest version (v2.1 at the time of this release).

2) Installation:

To install this mod, simply extract it from the .zip file to your "My Documents" folder, making sure that the "Use Folder Names" option is enabled.
Alternatively, you can extract each file to it's correct location, which is shown below.

Once installed.....

3) Files:

All files should be extracted to the location "My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\....".
This will be the case if you unzippd the package correctly.

Battle it out along a long highway with highly customizable vehicles. Fight your way to the enemy statue and destroy it.
Take over outposts along the way to assist in your quest for control.
Upgrade your vehicles with all manner of performance enhancements, car bombs, nitro, jumpers, and more.

Road Rage is won by destroying the other Team's statue.
If playing with more than 1 Round, Teams will have to destroy the other team's statue as many times as there are rounds.
If playing with 0 Rounds, the game will change the Round everytime a team's statue is destroyed. But the rounds will continue to change until you get bored.
In the event of a time limit, the Round, or Game will be forced to end.

Use the Shops that are available in Bases and Outposts to enhance you vehicles capabilities. See the list below.
Some upgrades can be quite costly, but are also very effective.
Earn cash by driving, killing players, ramming vehicles and completing objectives.
Look at the signs above the shop entrance to get an idea as to what parts the shop holds.

In this primarily Vehicle game, the objective is to use your customized cars to assault the enemy Statue.

Outposts can be captured to aid in your efforts, and to give you extra bonuses.

Players will be ejected from their vehicle when it gets wrecked, rather than going down with it.
This way players should easily be able to find a new vehicle along the road and can keep fighting.

This gametype was designed to take a while to complete, and we hope to add many more features in the future, as well as improve the many aspects that are involved in it.

Your ideal goal is to kill you target before someone else does. But other players may be after you aswell.
You get the most points for killing your target, and less for repelling players who are after you.
The more players you have after you, and the more players who are after your target the more points you will get for killing your target.

Everytime you kill a player you get a few bonuses, such as Health and Armor. If your Health and Armor are full, you get awarded spare points which go toward a powerup.
The less damage you take, the sooner you will get awarded a powerup. The longer you last and the more people you kill, the better powerups you will get given at once.

5) Known Issues:

For whatever reason, these issues are present in this release. We will (hopefully) be fixing them in future versions

Carbombs do not work for the first time on client machines. You can simply buy the bomb, then get out of the car and get back in to get it to work.
AI opponents may not work 100% in Road Rage (and possibly others), due to the complex nature of the gametype. They will need alot more work, which we simply didn't have time for now.
