A little map that I made for fun in a short time, for 1st April.
It is a remake of my DM-BCE_10100101, a map I made for Unreal Tournament.
I have created most of the meshes for this map using Blender.

Rather than trying to go for a Tron-ish look again, this time I tried to mess up a
bit the UT 3 rendering engine. As expected, a high number of emissive cubemapped
translucent surfaces mixed with advanced frame motion capture tecniques (also known
as HOM) made the engine go nuts, so while playing this map you will see things
rendered in an incorrect order (pay attention to the outer rings, especially).
The result is definitely interesting, although it can be pretty heavy on the eyes.

Gameplay wise the map is a quite close remake of my UT map, but the walkways are
larger and it's a bit harder to fall off the map. I have also added a bit more
cover and trickjumps.
It is still a pretty open falloff map, so it's not really suitable for anything
but spammy fun. I recommend playing against bots skilled enough to know how to lift
jump.

Ich habe DM 165 und andere Maps neu instlliert, funktioniert aber nicht. Ut3 stürzt sofort ab. Besonders Maps mit dem Zusatz "BN" (Dm -BN Hyperblast 3 ) stürzen sofort ab, obwohl ich alle Dateien in die richtigen Folder kopiert habe. Ich habe auch den Patch 5 installiert. Bringt alles nichts. Auch DM- RB-Grey Matter geht nicht , obwohl es früher funktionierte. Ich verstehe das nicht .Ich installiere z. B. 5 neue Maps. 3 davon funktioneren problemlos, die anderen nicht u. Ut3 hängt sich kommentarlos auf. Dieses Spiel soll doch langsam der Teufel holen!
Weiß jemand wo das Problem liegen könnte?

So,hab extra wegen dir die Map gezogen und installiert.Läuft einwandfrei.Sieht zwar scheisse aus,aber läuft.

Also bei mir läuft die map auch ohne probleme. Das einzige wo UT3 bei mir gelegentlich abschmiert ist wenn ich LAN hoste mit manchen maps (CTF-Face). Dann host ich halt mit ner anderen map und vote dann face mit utcomp.

Also: Ich habe meine Festplatte 2x neu formatiert danach Win 7 installiert und als einziges Programm UT3 sowie den Patch 1.3, bezw. das Volume Pack 1.5 u. den TitanPatch. Dann klickte ich das ut3 Icon und bekam die Meldung: "Legen sie eine CD/DVD ins Laufwerk ein". Die lag natürlich drin. Also die DVD ins andere Laufwerk rein. Wieder die gleiche Meldung! Was bitte habe ich falsch gemacht? Beide CD/DVD Laufwerke funktionieren natürlich einwandfrei.
