History: Es war zur Jahreswende 2002/2003, als UT2003 schon einige Wochen alt war und die ersten Movies im Netz auftauchten. Ich hatte mir schon immer gerne Game-Movies gesaugt, wusste aber nicht, wie man diese überhaupt erstellt. Es war die Seite UT-2003.com, die ein kleines "how to make" herausbrachte und mir die Sache schmackhaft machte. Ich wollte zunächst die beiden, meist getrennt auftretenden Genres Film und frag-Movies vereinen, bis ich schliesslich noch auf die Idee mit dem fun-Teil kam.

It was in winter 2002/2003. UT2003 had been released some weeks ago and the first movies were created and published. I have always liked watching game movies but I didn´t know how to make them until the website UT-2003.com released a small tutorial. I realized that it was not as difficult as I expected and started to record my first video files. I wanted to combine an 'ordinary' movie with a frag-movie and then got the idea of a third genre: fun!

* Der Film-Teil und der Fun-Teil wurden mit Bots gedreht. Die Befehle "Hold this position" und "Cover me" waren vollkommen ausreichend, um die KI (einigermaßen) realistisch durch die Maps zu dirigieren.
* Die meisten frags stammen aus 1on1-Spielen in der ESL Ladder
* Es gibt eine 400 MB große Deluxe-Version des Movies. Bisher haben ihn nur das feel Unreal 2 Team und Leute, die es auf LANs von mir gezogen haben.

* The movie-part and the fun-part were filmed with bots. The commands "hold this position" and "cover me" were all I needed in order to make the AI do what I wanted them to do. I think that this looks rather realistic even though I had no human help.
* Most of the frags were performed in the ESL 1on1 Ladder Germany
* There is a "deluxe version" of this movie with a size of 400 MB
